Three News Ways to Learn Surface Texture, Roughness and Tribology Online
Michigan Metrology is now offering the Surface Roughness, Texture and Tribology short class in three online formats to make this fundamental training easier than ever to access. Dr. Donald Cohen distills his 30 years of experience in surface measurement and analysis into these compelling and easy-to-understand presentations for engineers, scientists and technicians. All versions of the course focus on surface texture analysis and how it relates to component functionality, as well as covering the fundamentals of friction, wear and lubrication.
Option 1 - Learn at your own pace at udemy.com
A 4-hour version of the class is now available through udemy.com. It provides a broad introduction to texture-roughness and tribology, in a series of modules that you can download and watch at your own pace. View the class at udemy.com
Option 2 - Attend the full class live online, Sept. 30–Oct 1, 2020.
For a deeper dive into texture/roughness and tribology we are offering a 2-day class online. Dr. Cohen will be teaching the course live online, via Webex, in a professional learning environment. This version of the class goes into far greater detail regarding basic and advanced surface analysis and friction. In addition, you'll have full access for real-time questions and answers about how the material applies to your particular application. Visit our Classes page to learn more and to register for the class.
Option 3 - Custom class for your company
Dr. Cohen also provides this course material as an online class customized for individual companies. These classes can be tailored to your company's specific needs and interests and can be presented through your internal systems. It's a highly cost-effective way to train your team in critical surface texture-roughnes-tribology that is focused on your particular needs. Email us to discuss options and to schedule a class.
